I was first introduced to the Rainbow Expedition on assignment by my TV station to cover the Mt. Rainier climb in Washington in 1999.  The assignment instantly became not only an incredible story, but also a life-changing experience for me and countless viewers who continue to contact us about how Jeff's motivation and thirst for adventure have inspired their lives.

The documentary we produced on that adventure has won several awards in the television industry, but my greatest reward by far has been the lifelong friendships I've made with the climb team and our continuing endeavors.  I climbed Mt. Galdhopiggen with the team in Norway and am thrilled to be "always climbing higher" with the team on Mt. Kilimanjaro this fall.

ACTIVITIES:  I'm a great lover of the outdoors and can often be found relaxing at our cabins in Wisconsin's north woods.   Outside of mountain climbing, I enjoy water sports:  SCUBA diving , water skiing, kayaking, and fishing.  I love downhill and cross country snow skiing.  Hiking, backpacking and camping are also high on my list.  Music and writing are my other passions.  I'm usually the one on our team to break out the guitar around the camp fire and begin belting out songs about our climbs.  I've also been known to sit quietly, writing in my journal, leaving other team members to wonder exactly what all that ink is saying!

I'm privileged and honored to be a part of this team.
