| Born January 12, 1960 in Oslo. Youngest of 4
children. I was always lagging behind when the family was skiing, but that
has changed! Education: MSc mechanical engineering in 1983. Married to Fred in 1983. We have 2 children, Kim, age 17, and Bettina, age 14. Editor: Elektronikk 1984-92 (electronics magazine) Advisor the Norwegian Research Council 1992 - 1995. National expert in the EU commission in 1993/94. Director public relations, the Norwegian Institute of Technology, 1995-96 Editor in chief: Snø&Ski (Snow & Ski) 1996 - circulation: 42.000. Member of the board: The Ridderrennets Venner since January 2000. I met Jeff Pagels at Ski for Light in Colorado 2000, and was a guide for the Rainbow Expedition's Mt. Galdhöpiggen climb in 2000. Since then I have crossed the ice cap on Greenland in May, 2002. My main interests are skiing and mountaineering. |
