Tom Wilson

Wilson is Professor Emeritus with the University of Wisconsin Extension (UWEX), having retired from a position in Waupaca County, Wisconsin in fall of 2002. He currently does some consulting for the UWEX, and the rest of his time involves fishing, hunting, volunteering, and working on numerous building and construction projects for himself and others. His wife, Gingie, who still teaches in the Waupaca School District, encourages him to pursue his outside interests. Tom has been a fishing and hunting colleague of Jeff Pagels for almost 30 years.

Wilson chose to be a part of the Rainbow Expedition's Kilimanjaro climb because it is something that promises to be challenging, fun, and affords him the opportunity to travel to a part of the world he has always wanted to experience.

Most important, however, is the opportunity to share such an experience with Jeff, Corey, and Chad - his fishing and hunting buddies - and friends.
